Role Description\n

At Asda, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high‑quality patient care. Your typical day will involve screening patients, coaching and training the wider team, and ensuring department standards are maintained. We provide extensive training and CPD support, including protected time for further accreditations, to help you meet evolving eye‑care needs.

Responsibilities\n

  • Screen patients for eye conditions and provide clinical care.
  • \n
  • Co‑ordinate with the Optical Manager and team to maintain high standards.
  • \n
  • Coach and train staff on patient services and clinical procedures.
  • \n
  • Develop and support new patient services to enhance customer experience.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC.
  • \n
  • Registered performer with an NHS area team or health board MECs/WECs (or willing to obtain accreditation within 12 months).
  • \n
  • On track to meet statutory points requirement for CPD.
  • \n
  • Passionate about delivering memorable customer experiences and developing new patient services.
  • \n
