We're supporting a well-established national retailer as it embarks on an ambitious programme of technology transformation. With several business-critical initiatives underway, they're looking for an experienced Interim IT Project Manager to join the team and help deliver key projects across their technology estate.

This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

Reporting into the Head of Technology, you'll be responsible for leading the delivery of multiple IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and with minimal disruption to the wider business.

Working closely with technology teams, third-party suppliers and business stakeholders, you'll play a key role in driving projects that support both operational efficiency and the customer experience.

• Manage the full lifecycle of multiple IT projects from planning through to delivery.

• Build and maintain detailed project plans, budgets and risk registers.
\n
• Coordinate internal technology teams and third-party suppliers.
\n
• Engage with stakeholders across head office and operational functions to ensure project objectives are achieved.
\n
• Track project milestones and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
\n
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies and issues.
\n
• Ensure effective governance, documentation and reporting throughout each project.
\n
• Support business readiness, user adoption and implementation activities.
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement across project delivery methodologies.
\n

You'll be an experienced IT Project Manager who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of delivering successful technology projects.

We're looking for someone with:

• Demonstrable experience delivering end-to-end IT projects.
\n
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
\n
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
\n
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
\n
• Confidence working with third-party vendors and internal technology teams.
\n
• Experience using project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches.
\n
• Previous experience within retail, consumer or multi-site environments would be highly advantageous.
\n

Exposure to cloud technologies, infrastructure upgrades, ERP implementations or Microsoft 365 projects would also be beneficial.
