Class 2 Skip Driver

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 (HGV) Drivers for a fantastic opportunity with a well-established client in the waste sector. This is a great chance to secure long-term, full-time work with training provided and career progression available.

The Role:

• Monday to Friday
\n
• 12-week temp to perm opportunity
\n
• Start time: 06:45am (approx. 50 hours per week)
\n
• Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips
\n
• Operating Skip, RoRo and Tipper vehicles
\n
• Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate delivery records via PDA
\n
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed within scheduled time slots
\n

What We're Looking For:

\n
• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
\n
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
\n
• Newly qualified drivers welcome
\n
• RoRo/Skip experience beneficial (training provided if not)
\n
• Experience using chains is advantageous
\n
• Own transport to commute to work
\n
• A strong understanding of health & safety and tachograph regulations
\n
